Garden State Plaza features around 335 businesses anchored by Macy’s, Neiman Marcus, and Nordstrom department stores. Other retailers include premium fashion brands such as Boss, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Salvatore Ferragamo, and Versace. The Capital Grille at Garden State Plaza is a sophisticated steakhouse serving mouthwatering dry-aged steaks alongside a wine list spanning hundreds of labels. The Shops at Riverside is an upscale retail hub with high-end home design stores such as Arhaus and Williams-Sonoma alongside fashion brands like Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, Francesca’s, Hermes, J. Crew, and Jimmy Choo. This shopping destination also has a Bloomingdale’s department store, a Barnes & Noble bookstore and café, and an AMC Dine-In movie theater. Paramus Park contains over 100 businesses, including outdoor gear brand L.L.Bean, stylish fashion store Old Navy, and a Macy’s department store and Macy’s Backstage discount store. Things to Do

Paramus Golf Course is an 18-hole municipal facility offering challenging play for golfers of every skill level. Saddle River County Park runs for almost 600 acres along the Saddle River on the west side of Paramus. This park has a six-mile hiking and biking trail, as well as a scenic waterfall, a lake, and ponds where fishing is permitted. On the east side of Paramus, Van Saun County Park covers 146 acres. Facilities here include basketball and tennis courts and baseball, softball, and soccer fields. Bergen County Zoo at Van Saun County Park is home to animals such as mountain lions, prairie dogs, and red wolves. The zoo also has an amphitheater for live animal shows, a carousel, and train and pony rides.​​​​​​​
